    Itinerary

    Day 1:
    You will be picked up from your hotel at the scheduled time in the morning for a scenic journey into the Loire Valley. Travel through the southern neighborhoods of Paris in an air-conditioned coach, take the Aquitaine motorway for an approximately 3-hour ride until you reach Amboise.

    The day begins with a guided tour of the Château d'Amboise, a UNESCO world heritage site. Step into the shoes of royalty and recreate daily life in court. Explore the picturesque gardens of the castle, which offer sweeping views of the Loire Valley. You can also enjoy lunch in the gardens or in one of the snack bars located near the castle.
    Head to the next destination, the Château du Clos-Lucé, a 10-minute walk from the Château d'Amboise with your guide in tow. Enjoy insight into the private life of the Renaissance genius, Leonardo da Vinci as you explore the beautiful Château du Clos-Lucé. He was invited to Clos Lucé by François I and spent the last three years of his life there.

    The next destination in the itinerary, the Château de Villandry, is a 45-minute drive away. Discover the verdant avenues of linden trees dividing the gardens into several different levels and plantations. Admire the riotous colors of the gardens of Villandry with its blissful and tranquil ambience.
    Next, you will continue to Tours (30 minutes from Villandry by coach) and participate in a guided tour of the old city: discover the charm of this historic neighborhood lined with enchanting half-timbered houses.

    The day ends with dinner (included in the package) at the Hôtel Mercure Tours Nord or a similar hotel with overnight accommodation in the university town of Tours.

    Day 2:
    Enjoy a hearty breakfast (included in the package) before heading to the Château de Chenonceau, located approximately 35 kilometers from the town of Tours. Enjoy a guided tour of the majestic castle which played a significant role in French history and is embellished with several female French figures such as Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de' Medici. As you stroll through the Château de Chenonceau, bear witness to the elegance of its flowery furnished rooms and its impressive architecture built on the Cher River.
     
    Next, head to Cheverny for a guided tour of the Château de Cheverny. Explore the 17th century seigneurial property, with its apartments conveying the French art de vivre with rooms such as the birth chamber and the private dining room. After a tour of the castle, enjoy rewarding views of the Château’s picturesque gardens, followed by lunch (included in the package) at the Saint Hubert restaurant in Cour-Cheverny.     After lunch, head to the Château de Chambord, some twenty kilometers from Cheverny. Explore the fascinating, complex heritage of this breathtaking Loire Valley castle, built by François I in the 16th century. Behold its extraordinary architecture with the famous double-helix staircase in the center of the monument, and visit the former lodgings of the king and the other rooms on its various stories. The large terrace with its majestic chimneys offers a sweeping views of Chambord Park.
    Depart from Chambord a little after 4pm. You will be dropped off to your hotel in Paris after the tour.

    Lunch in Amboise: you can eat lunch on the lawn in the park's gardens provided that you do not litter. The duration and times may vary depending on the course of the excursion.

    For any booking which requires a single room (triple room unavailable), a supplement of 20€ will have to be paid at PARISCityVISION agency prior your tour departure
