Due to renovations, Mona Lisa will be shifted to Galerie Médicis (room 801) on level 2 of the Richelieu wing from 17 July till mid-October 19.

Children under 18 and EU citizens under 26 have free access to most of the museums and monuments.

They are usually closed on Monday or Tuesday, 1st January and 1st May.

The “queue-cutter” aspect of the pass cannot always be guaranteed in certain sites operating an access system that requires the production of a free ticket or when there are security checks in place or limited regulated access for security reasons.

Exceptional closing hours and free admissions (strikes, national holidays, etc.) will neither prolong the duration of the pass, nor entitle the holder to a refund of one or more days.

Paris Museum Pass (PMP) has undergone slight changes due to the initiation of new reforms:

    • Validity of Paris Museum Pass will be calculated in hours starting at the time of the first visit, so for a 48 hours pass if you start Wednesday at 11am it will be valid until Friday 10:59am.

    • The Pass gives the right to only 1 entry to each site, regardless of the duration of the Paris Museum Pass.
    • If you wish to visit Louvre Museum, you need to mention the date and time of entry, the PMP serial number and your surname and name, on the given website page Click here
