  • Overview

Meet your guide at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time. Head to the famous Île de la Cité district to begin your tour. Come face to face with 2000 years of history as you walk through the island. The Île de la Cité district was once home to kings and the hub of world-changing political uprisings. Hear the gruesome histories, revolutionary rivalries and romantic interludes of the Île de la Cité from your expert guide. Take in lovely views over the River Seine’s UNESCO-listed banks.

You will next see Notre Dame from outside. Hear the many fascinating stories held within the walls of Notre Dame and beautiful Gothic stonework. The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Victor Hugo’s 19th-century masterpiece, was inspired by the famous cathedral.

You will then visit Sainte Chapelle, a former chapel of King Louis IX. Built in 1248, Sainte Chapelle is home to thousands of square feet 13th-century stained glass, two-thirds of which are restored originals. This Parisian gem is a major tourist magnet, but with this skip-the-line tour, you can simply skip the lengthy queues and spend more time enjoying this majestic edifice.

The tour ends at Sainte Chapelle, after which you can continue sightseeing on your own or make your way back to the hotel.
